Jamie Kallestad is a songwriter from Cloquet, MN. A longtime guitarist and vocalist for the stomp-grass trio Saint Anyway, he is also one half of the Americana duo 90-Mile Portage. Writing from life experiences and travel, Jamie’s songs take place in the upper midwest, up and down the great Mississippi River Road—Highway 61—as well as Northern Norway, New England, and New Orleans. In 2017, Jamie served as artist-in-residence for the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park in Northern Michigan and wrote three songs inspired by that experience. He currently lives in Watertown, MA and is busy recording an album of lullabies, among other things.
